Schlotterbacks in Iowa win the lotto!

Here's a cool story out of Iowa where Paul and Patty Schlotterback won a cool $200,000 in a lotto!  Good for them, you see, the Schlotterback name holds lucky winning power!  Now just don't creep out and start calling these two asking for money as long lost relatives!  :-)

Check out the full story here: www.ialottery.com/Pressroom.  A big congrats to Paul and Patty.

  1. Hello Family Schlotterback, congratulation, so much money!
I`m doing family research (by familysearch) My greatgreatuncle Emil A. Lippert (b.1861) and greataunt Emma Conrad (b.1871) were born in Krojanke, Pommern,Prussia. Emil immigrated to Iowa (1881). Their first daughter Emma Lippert (born 1903)married a Schlotterback in 1923. Her sister Esther Rose Lippert (born 1906) married GJ. Schlotterback (born 1904) in 1925, son of Mr. Frank Schlotterback and Maria Schultz. If you have any idea how/if we could be related, please contact me. I think that Emma Lippert (Conrad) is a much older sister of my greatfather Karl Conrad (1891). At the end of the war II 1945 my family (mums side) left Pommern and first came to Kirchlinteln/Verden, not far from Bremen. The part of the family in Iowa sent care-parcels. I`m sorry, during the years the Iowa address get lost. I would be very pleased, if you could help us to find our part of the family in Iowa or meanwhile at another place? Your`s sincerely
